New comic day

newnumber6This week I got: Gotham Central #13 (Quite good, and the art's improved), Marvel 1602 #4 (Pretty good, things are starting to shape up and happen), New Mutants #7 (Enjoyable, but clumsy in spots and I really want some explanations about some that I'm betting aren't coming just to make things simple-for-new-readers. Bah. Otherwise good, though, and art's much better, although the people don't look quite like themselves), Nyx #2 (Excellent), Teen Titans #5 (Not bad), Ultimate Six #4 (Good, except the art, where it's hard to distinguish between different people), Ultimate X-Men #39 (quite good), X-Treme X-Men (Not quite as good as the rest of the arc, and I want some damn explanations, damnit (for the same thing as in NM for that matter)).
For those who get both, read NM before X-Treme X-Men. Yes, comics this week do actually have a chronological order of sorts.
Also, on the way home, instead of my gyro I decided to stop in to McDonalds and try that Steak and Cheese flatbread they've been advertising. As I expected, it was smaller than it looks on the commercials (they must hire models with small hands), and has less meat because only the very top has meat, the rest of the flatbread is stuffed with lettuce (which makes it messier). Still, it was pretty tasty. I enjoyed it. I probably won't have it again because I feel I get my money's worth more with a gyro, but I don't regret trying it, had a nice flavor to it.
