Ego boost (+ social contact!)

newnumber6Heh. So, as I was heading to the bookstore to get a ($140!!!!) textbook, I happened to be walking beside someone who was in my evolution class last year. We occasionally talked before class, and I think I'd talked to her once briefly since then, but neither of us were in a hurry so we talked a bit.
The first thing she said was that she almost didn't recognize me or something because with my hair, I look like a rock star now. When I had classes with her, I kept my hair fairly short, but it's been growing out a little. I disagree that I look like a rockstar or really particularly good at all, but she seemed to think it looked good, which is nice to hear anyway.
After that, the conversation just returned to school, how we were doing and then how she thought Canada was different from Russia (where she's from).
Reasonably nice couple of minutes before we went our separate ways, anyway, and yay, ego boost, re: hair.
