Had a weird dream. Among other things, I dreamed I had a turtle. Except, it looked more like a bug...but not a _real_ bug, more a gumby-like plastic bug, green, fairly featureless, but plastic looking and with extended limbs.
At first I thought this was fine and normal, but thne I noticed it didn't really have a face, its head was blank almost like another foot/leg. There was also no visible shell.
However, looking closer, I discovered that this was like a exoskeletal suit for the turtle... there was a real, normal turtle in a little container in it, and the containercontained this jell that was set up so that when the turtle moved its leg in the gell, a computer was able to sense it and moved the same leg on the 'gumby-body'.
So, the turtle was moving around and didn't actually know anything was wrong. Except the turtle was really tiny, like, less than dime sized.
Sometime after I put the green gumby thing on the table, somebody (dunno who) knocked it over, and the gell-part opened and spilled all over the place and I tried to put it back, but then it wouldn't move, and I realized the turtle spilled out too, so I had to look really closely at the carpet to find it.
Finally I did, but that's about where I woke up.
