One last unicorn influenced dream, one that had a bit of green lantern in it. More behind the cut tag.
Well, they _might_ have been the same dream, but I can't remember completely and if there was there was sort of a lot of transition time I'm not aware of.
Anyway, in one, I was in the role of Scmendrick, I guess, the magician, except I also had a sword. I was walking along with the unicorn, in some parts guiding her, and at times she told me I should go along off on my own, but I stubbornly refused. I remember at one part we were crossing through some water and a blue and white snake (which, in the dream, I identified as the deadly blue coral snake) came swimming towards us and I used the sword to slash it and keep the unicorn safe. I also remember at some point we were travelling along walls... with my climbing or doing other things, but the unicorn could simply walk upon the walls like it was the ground. Anyway, we were searching for the land of King Haggard, but that's all I remember.
The other dream (or the same dream, but by this time the unicorn had faded somewhere into the background), we were in the fortress of an evil overlord type, captured. Somehow I think I got free, and as the evil overlord was about to activate some magic device, I smashed it, spilling the contents (which looked like salt) on the ground. Then I realizedthat that was just a minor device, the real device was this thing (it wasn't a ring exactly, but it could be put ont he hand) that had the green lantern symbol on him, that I grabbed off him. He laughed, mentioned that it would be no use to me because he'd been studying it for years and hadn't figured out the codeword to activate it. I looked around and noticed notes where he was doing sample decipherings of a symbol. I looked at the inside of the thing where the 'clue' was, and I realized I recognized it... it was one of those puzzles where the answer is insanely easy if you see it (think the puzzle in the episode where Lisa Simpson thought she was getting dumber). And the answer was the word '13'. So I held it up, said '13', and the ring started to glow, and the big evil overlord got frightened and started running away. So I concentrated and made a containment sphere of green energy from the ring to surround him. That's about where I woke up.
