Random Thoughts Of The Day
Nov. 9th, 2004 07:02 pmSo, today I sold one of my university textbooks. Not back to the store, but independantly over http://www.books4exchange.com (they don't take a cut, so I don't mind giving the link. Think they're Canada only though). Which is good, the guy I sold it to got it for cheaper he could at the bookstore (and it was pretty well like new condition) and I got more for it than I could get in a bookstore.
Our fridge is broken. It was dying over the past couple weeks - it was making strange and disturbing noises, but still worked. Finally, yesterday morning I discovered the ice cubes were partly melted.
Now it's pretty much not working at all. Landlord was supposed to send somebody by today to either fix or replace it, but no luck yet. Luckily, there wasn't a whole lot of perishable food in it, but there was some we had to throw out. Hopefully it'll be back up soon, cause being without a fridge? Sucks. Ice cubes are so much better with a working freezer - they make that satisfying 'plink' in your glass that you don't get when they're room temperature.
Also? Richard Branson is one crazy-@$$ @#$%!!$@%!#$.
