New Comic Day + Work Foo
Jul. 20th, 2005 05:15 pmThis week I got a whopping 11 books:
Astonishing X-Men #11 (still not thrilled with the main plot, but there's a really nice moment that makes the issue worth it)
Batgirl #66 (bit of a weaker issue than usual, disappointing)
Birds of Prey #84 (fairly good, nice character moments)
Cable & Deadpool #17 (again a bit of a weaker issue than I'm used to)
Daredevil #75 (not bad, better than the early part of the arc anyway)
Exiles #67 (Reasonably fun, if a little silly in premise)
Ex Machina #13 (enjoyable)
House of M #4 (actually quite enjoyable)
Robin #140 (not bad, some interesting aspects)
Teen Titans #26 (not fond of these types of stories)
Ultimates 2 #7 (Wow. My pick of the week).
Full reviews of course at http://www.unreachablestar.net
For lunch had a Whopper again.
Work was okay, regular delivery guy on vacation so the new guy was later than usual. But it let me read some.
Also, RIP James Doohan, TV's "Scotty". :(
