Sleeping upside down
Nov. 4th, 2005 11:53 amSo, every once in a while, I sleep upside down... with my head at the foot of the bed, that is. I don't know why exactly, but I think the different orientation (so long as I don't do it often enough to get used to it) screws me up just enough to disturb my rest just enough that I seem to have particularly vivid dreams. This time was no exception, although I can't remember many of them now.
The one that comes most clearly was one where I discovered William Shatner was really my father, and I went to try to track him down, although he was living in some really rural area or something. I specifically remember because for the first few seconds waking up I was unsure whether he actually was or was not my father and had to convince myself of the truth.
There were others that I can remember snatches of, or more often feelings (I think there was one in which I was being chased by something), but nothing else really I can articulate. I do remember there being a lot of dreams though.
