New Comic Day + Walk Foo
Aug. 9th, 2006 06:27 pmThis week I just got one book:
Ultimate X-Men #73 (enjoyable, but also a typical middle-part, without the interest of a beginning or the satisfaction of a good end)
Full review is up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
For lunch, I had un sandwich du jambon avec le mayo. (Look at me, I can speak pseudo-french!)
And of course went on the long walk today. I made another minor change to my route, but I still haven't found the one that takes me to Toronto Below or other places. Maybe next time I should try turning around thrice, widdershins. Well, not next time, I can't try it next time because next week is Runaways, and I can't risk disappearing before I get the new issue. Oh, sure, they might be able to get it there, but I wouldn't want to chance dying at the bite of the giant, savage, sewer-fed evil beaver below the city.
As for what I did on the walk, well, read part of it, also did some walter mittying, and pondered a new crossover icon that amuses me though I don't know if I'll manage it. I'll just say it involves a TV show and a movie that is also a book.
Work was okay, but tiring. Walked halfway home rather than just waiting for the bus, then caught the bus when it caught up to me.
