Icon Pairing Meme

Here's a 'icon characters pairing' meme. The rules:

Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. etc. Write what you think about that pairing.

I should warn up front that a) I have two 'rotating icon' slots, so this list won't necessarily be consistent with my icons in the next week or so, and b) I'm not a slasher at heart, so although that may have been the initial intent, I'm not going to be specifically writing about what kind of romantic relationship they'd have (although I might if that'd make sense), but more how they'd relate to one another, and c) since a lot of my characters are in the same fandom they already sort of relate to each other in particular ways.

Here's the list:

Ghost (an old RPG character I used. technically his name is Christopher but I change the
last name now and then and the pic is of him in ghost form, so I'll leave him as 'G' in the alphabet list)

And my pairings:

First, we have an odd man out. We could cut the first or the last, or use someone twice. But you know, I think we'll cut Alex from the list, because he's standing in the way of my comics OTP. ;) To make him feel better, I'll also pair him up with #6.

#6 and Karolina Dean: Well, no romance, of course, because she's gay and he's British. And a spy. So since Karolina tends to try and cheer everybody up (even when she's depressed inside), 6 would probably take her for one of the brainwashed residents of the Village. However, upon learning she could fly he might try to include her in her escape plans. Naturally, though, if they were in the village, Karolina wouldn't trust him, because he's an adult.

Ghost and Molly Hayes: Age difference makes a romantic relationship unlikely here, but I could actually see Chris having a sort of big brother type relationship with Molly, sort of like she does with Chase, and he sort of had a big brother type relationship with a character named Kinkajou (a homeless raccoon-like mutant child who spoke only spanish). So yeah, I could see that working.

Victor Mancha and Nico Minoru: Well, they're embarking on a relationship in canon. I see Victor's poor metal heart getting broken though, as the vibe I'm getting is that she's with him more because he's there and seems to like her, rather than because she feels particularly attracted to him.

Old Lace and Richardson: Richardson might actually worship Old Lace as some kind of primitive deity. More likely, he'd run, and become dinosaur food (if Old Lace was uncontrolled and acting on instinct). Together forever! Well, at least until the digestion cycle completes. If somehow Richardson got the mental link to control Old Lace... I think he'd go on a killing spree. Richardson's pretty meek and gets abused often without complaint, but you add a killer dinosaur to his arsenal, I think people in Deadwood are getting attacked. He'd be more likely to worship Old Lace in this case, too (probably not actually consciously directing it, but viewing Old Lace as a guardian angel type beast killing those who bug him). Farnum would be the first to go.

Chase Stein and Gert Yorkes: My OTP already - great in canon, even if doomed. Just because they're obviously mismatched, and yet they somehow work.

Bonus round: Alex Wilder and #6 - #6 might work with Alex to get out of the Village, but that would be a mistake.
