To sleep, perchance to dream...

newnumber6Two dreams, one vague, one more detailed.
The vague one, all I can remember is that I was with some people on a car trip, and we realized we were being followed. By 'Them'. Or agents of them. They were following us just out of sight, making sure not to be too close, and we only noticed because I had a hunch and asked us to look. To make sure we were actually being followed, we turned suddenly in the car, back the way we were going, pretending to be looking for a 'gas station'.
The other car also turned and looked for it. They pretended to be tourists, striking us up in conversations. So, I got us to fill up quickly and leave so that hopefully they'd still be at the pumps for a few seconds while we were gone and had a head start. We thought we lostone of our group then, and were thinking about rescue, but then discovered they were with us all the time, just quiet.
In the second one, I was on some weird extended field trip, by bus, presumably at high school, to a theme park in Vancouver. The people with me included some MU* people, some RL people, some comics characters, and some people I can't place from anywhere but seemed familiar. Anyway, we were hanging out somewhere and someone took me and said they found something, and I followed along, a weird circuitous route through one of the souvenier shops, and got to this big open room that was empty, and apparently was an exact duplicate of some room at our 'high school' (this was a dream-connection, it doesn't resemble anything I can place in my waking memory).
Since nobody else knew about it, we told some of the people we knew, and sort of just threw a party there. I talked with someone about just general life and where we were headed, and then after a while lost track of the people I knew, until a teacher showed up looking for me. Apparently it was time to go, and he had to fetch everyone from our school back to the bus. When we got to the bus, some people were still missing so we had to wait, and others were in trouble with the law for various reasons (the only one I can remember was Monet, who was only in the dream 'off-panel' apparently got in trouble for underage drinking). I remembered then that I wanted to give my brother a call since I was in Vancouver, but I couldn't remember his number, and went to a phone to try what I thought his number was. It was busy, though, so I didn't get a chance to try again before I woke up.
So, there we go.
