The Draft! (Hey, weren't we supposed to get The Pitt! first?)

Anyway, a lot of my friends list have been talking about a senator's comments about reinstituting The Draft, for Iraq. I feel it necessary to point out that it is just one senator with, so far, no indication that this is any way the administration as a whole is leaning (in fact, my gut is the opposite; instituting a draft would be an admission of defeat, that they can't handle the problem). However, all that being said, if it _does_ happen.

It may just be one senator however if ol' DubbYa decides to invade other "terrorist" countries to spread his version of american values after he's 'finished' with Iraq they will definatly have to get more men. =P

There were apparently bills put before both the House and Senate last year to reinstate the draft (and extend it to women, as well), but they're both effectively dead, last I heard.
