Doing pretty well for me. I've broken 10,000 words, which puts me 2 days ahead on my word quota (which means I'll be taking 2 days off eventually), and so far not having any serious trouble (well, the last 500 words of a day are a bit of a slog, but other than that). For those of you who are not as far along as me, don't feel bad, mine's complete crap, and complete crap isn't too hard to write.
It's Daylight Savings Time time tonight. It occurs to me that this is the first time it takes place in November. That means there's one more hour in NaNo this year (for those that use DST) than in others. One more hour. I suggest everyone on my flist doing NaNo dedicate an extra hour this weekend to doing something they enjoy that is not NaNo related. It's a gift, so use it to refresh and recharge. (Of course, if you've been procrastinating too much, maybe you should dedicate the hour to writing and nothing else).
I watched Stargate Atlantis. It was a good episode, one of the times they did a hoary old SF plot that you've seen on a thousand different shows, and did a nice job with it, putting a different take on it so that it didn't simply feel by the numbers (like the last few episodes have been).
