Lying Comedians!

Okay, we pretty well all know stand up comedians lie, it helps set up their jokes. This one guy though I caught at it and it's just sooo annoying. ;)
First of I've seen him 3 different times on 2 different shows (tv, but I know the show he did twice was different appearances and not just a rerun). Pretty well the exact same act, a couple minor changes. In one case the ending to one of his humorous true stories of married life changed.
Except he always opens by telling people it's his wedding anniversary, which of course means he's out of town. And the gift he bought his wife 'last year' (the appearances are years apart), and so on. If you're not going to update your act... well, I'm not going to finish it, just update your damn act! ;)

Maybe he just gets remarried a lot because he's doing stand-up shows when he should be at home on his anniversary.

Maybe. Wouldn't be surprised, but of course, since the other stories are the same, either he's still lying, or he's marrying remarkably similiar women. ;)
