New Comic Day + a bit of other stuff

Captain Britain and MI13 #7 (okay, though a bit weaker than usual)
Full reviews as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
Also picked up at the used bookstore: "Anansi Boys" by Neil Gaiman.
Work was okay, a bit later than usual though, which is a pain. And not nearly as good as Monday, where I found $5. It was on the floor of the staff washroom. I was even nice about it and asked around to see if anyone'd been in there recently, but nobody claimed they had (might have been someone from a shift change who'd went home), so I was able to keep it.
Also on the way home my electronic pass to get into my building wouldn't work. It had a crack in it. After a minute or two of waiting for somebody to come in I was able to get it working again with some jiggering (maybe connected a piece that was no longer connected).
I also seem to be having some odd thinking troubles today. It's like my mind wanders or something. I keep forgetting things (for example, my usual post comics LJ post, which I only remembered just now) or not doing things I normally do in the normal way. It's odd. It's kind of as though there's another process taking up a lot of resources in my mind and making me run slow, and I'm sort of semi-aware that _something's_ happening, but I'm not consciously aware of what.
