In my dream, at least. (Ha, got ya).
Anyway, it was mildly amusing except one part which was rageworthy. (No spoilers, unless I happen to be prophetic, but cut for your sanity anyway)
I can't recall most of the specifics of the plot... just that I was rather enjoying it, and the new companion was introduced in a deceptive (and salacious) way, in a skimpy, fantasy-warrior-esque costume, though it turned out she was in a renaissance fair type event.
The other major thing I remember is what got me raging and on the internet to complain right away (in the dream). He just went into the TARDIS for the first time, and we got a good look - and it did actually look really cool.
THEN IT STARTED TALKING. "Hello, Doctor"... it had a voice similar to K-9. And I was like NONONONO DON'T MAKE THE TARDIS TALK THAT SUCKS.
Anyway, I think the chances of it being a prophetic dream are pretty slim. Of course, if I was in the RTD era, the chances of a prophetic dream would have been quite good. In fact, it still would have been a prophetic dream, somehow, even if it occured many thousands of years AFTER the first episode aired.
And while I'm here, had some other dreams that were kinda cool lately.
A dream where I was my old favorite MU*ing character, and I teamed up either with, or to find, my friend who was the X-Men Evolution version of the Scarlet Witch. I say "either with, or to find," because I think it changed halfway through. I think at the start it was with, but towards the end it was To Find. I don't know who the other character was.
Anyway, my character was a teen who could leave his body (making it comatose) in a sort of ghost form, and his friend went missing, but he met another friend of hers (at this point, the Scarlet Witch). They clashed a bit (because the Evo Scarlet Witch was a little unstable) but both really wanted to find their friend... even though they didn't know each other were mutants, they were sort of implying their mutant powers (my character suggested that he'd do a quick survey of the city). Then we tracked down somebody who might have taken her (at this point it subtly changed so we were looking for the Scarlet Witch), and learned she'd just demolished the place with her hex powers. We finally caught up with her on the top of a building where it looked like she was attempting suicide. Emma Frost was also there, having been coincidentally at the top of the same building but having been looking for her anyway (or maybe Wanda was trying to kill her, I don't know for sure). Anyway, I woke up while trying to talk her out of doing something stupid. Woke up really missing that character of mine. Twas fun being him.
There was a zombie dream, but I can't recall the specifics. I think at one point we were in a car taking out zombies while we drove.
Another dream where all I remember was that I was stuck in an area I wasn't supposed to be in, pinned in by authorities who would have arrested/killed me. I got out by exploiting a break in their security perimeter, and walking backwards... so even though I was caught, since I was sneaking around facing the place I wasn't supposed to be in, they thought I was just some guy who was trying to sneak in, instead of the person who was sneaking out with whatever I was trying to smuggle out, and let me go.
