New Comic Day! + Work

This week I got:
Birds of Prey #83 (plot threads coming along nicely)
Cable & Deadpool #16 (A little bit of a weaker issue than normal, but come on, this book still rocks)
Daredevil #74 (I wasn't feeling the arc before, but this issue really turned it around for me)
Ex Machina #12 (new storyline looks pretty interesting so far)
Giant Size X-Men #3 (mediocre Whedon short story set in the past, not worth the money, really)
Uncanny X-Men #461 (very goofy, but it's only for one issue, so I actually enjoyed it)
Full reviews on my site, http://www.unreachablestar.net as usual.
For lunch, I had my monthly gyro. I was eating it on the way to the
subway when suddenly it started raining really suddenly. Found some
shelter under a store awning, and the rain died down, so after I
finished my gyro I started heading towards the subway again... and all of a sudden there was a LOST-style sudden torrential downpour and I had to run
under a tree and use that as shelter from the rain, lest my bag get more soaked.
Incidentally, I'm trying to figure out what this Mentos commercial is trying to say... the best I can come up with is: 'If you feed mentos to one bird, every bird in the world will be joined in a single hive mind and squak out the theme song to the world."
