All good things come to an end and for a long while there XET was a very good thing indeed. There was at least 2 solid years there of stupendous rp and though things died over the last year I've never played anywhere which was held in such affection by players. Unfortunately, games only have a limited life span. There's only so long you can play the same character in the same situation and make it interesting for you and everyone else. That's to be expected but I think we're all grateful that for a long while there XET was home to all of us and we've formed some close friendships there. I'd love it, as I've said many times, if you'd join us in a new environment and a new game or whatever, and ask again. Please come play on NYCX.
Kudos to you, man, and Swarm and the other admin who worked so hard to keep the game thriving as long as it was. You should be proud of yourself.
While I'd love to see you all somewhere down the line on another MU*, I don't see it happening any soon. What kept me away from NYCX before hasn't changed. I think it's going to be a long time before I get over a burnout of year-one style game that allows reinterpretation, and so NYCX isn't for me. I do wish you all the best of luck with it, but my path leads elsewhere.
